WHERE TO FIND MY POETRY IN ANTHOLOGIES

This marvelously useful anthology, compiled by Professor Sylvia Vardell (check out her fabulous blog, Poetry For Children) and author and poet Janet Wong, includes a poem a week for grades K-5 for the whole school year plus curriculum connections for every poem…and even has its very own blog.

My poems included in it are “Appy Birthday” (in the 2nd grade Science and Technology section), “I Had to Get a Shot at the Doctor’s” (4th grade Human Body section), and “How to Open the Attic Door” (5th grade Nonsense section).

There are two versions of this anthology, with two slightly different covers.  This is the cover for The Poetry Friday Anthology which incorporates Texas Curriculum Standards:

My poem, “If I Were A Dog” is included in the third in the series of poetry anthology eBooks compiled by Sylvia Vardell and Janet Wong.  This one is called Gift Tag and is for young children. And did you know you don’t even need a Kindle or other kind of reader for these books?  You can download them to your computer!
